Lincoln Alexander Butler Scholarship
The Lincoln Alexander Scholarship consists of a $500 scholarship that will be awarded to a student, on September 10th annually. Students who have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 may apply to this scholarship. This scholarship is designed to help students who have lost family members and who need to make the transition from high school to college or university.
How to apply:
1. The applicant must submit via email, a written-500-word essay explaining why they should receive the scholarship and their goals/plans for the next three years. The applicant must demonstrate leadership qualities and have completed their high school diploma.
2. Students must:
• demonstrate excellent citizenship
• be a first year student in college or university
• be actively involved at home or in the community
• be consistent attending school and participating regularly
3. The deadline is September 1st annually.
