About Wendy
Wendy whose name means “friend”, is a bubbly, energetic business woman currently working as a Director at a Shelter and Women’s Counsellor Centre for Mothers and Children having fled gender-based violence. She is a proficient speaker, teacher and event planner that have been beneficial to her work and ministry life. She manages her career, ministry and family life with wisdom and dedication, based on sound Biblical principles.
In 2013 Wendy launched her new ministry, Bon Ami Events. The ministry’s main focus initially was to equip, empower, educate, and embrace women and girls who struggled in various areas of their lives. However, in 2014 Wendy felt divinely guided to open the Ministry doors to men and children. Bon Ami Events became a fully fledged ministry reaching out to families worldwide.
She is not only a mentor for women and children but also a devoted wife and mother to three step-daughters, a biological son and daughter. Wendy currently serves at the Church of God Sabbath Keeping Ministries in Brampton as the Christian Education Ministry Director, and active member of the Praise & Worship Team under the leadership of Dr. Clarence & Lady Jacqueen Duff, and Associate Pastor David & Lady Melletta Brown.
Wendy attained a Master's Degree in Education at the Medialle College in Buffalo, New York a Sociology Degree at York University in Toronto, Ontario and a Social Service Worker Diploma at Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario.
Wendy has a love for people and has answered the call to minister to hurting women, men and children from all walks of life. It is Wendy’s prayer that families who come through this ministry’s doors, will find healing, restoration and above all find renewed purpose in the path that has been divinely laid out for them.

Bon Ami Events is a rapidly growing non-for-profit organization dedicated to reaching out to all women, men and children or families from different cultures who are hurting or broken; seeking resources in all areas of need.

Serving families around the world, Bon Ami Events is a forum for educating, networking, counselling, forming supportive friendships and developing a closer relationship with Our Maker. We are committed to genuine friendship, collaboration and the building of partnerships with other organizations, agencies or businesses to better service all families.

Our Team
Professionals
Bon Ami Events Ministry has a team of professionals who are dedicated to reaching out to all individuals who are hurting and broken. Its goal is to strengthen and encourage women, men and children to be the mighty people God has called them to be regardless of race, ethnicity, economic status, age or physical ability. Through confidentiality, empowerment, friendship, fellowship, and education the family can be whole again. Right or wrong, individuals from all walks of life are no less immune to real-life issues. The team of devoted women and men can speak to and relate to “all issues” such as: abuse, loneliness, parenting, divorce, abortions, financial difficulty, single life, self-esteem, etc. Regardless of any given situation our team believes that no one should be ashamed to talk about their circumstances and experiences, because of fear of judgement, blame or ridicule.

Meet The Butler Family
Wendy is married to the love of her life, Leroy, and together they have a blended family which consists of three talented step-daughters Olivia, Samantha and Alexia, one son, Isaiah who keeps them on their toes, and their new addition daughter princess Leighanna. Each family member is unique in their own way.
